Viswell runs the consult and the operations around it. Everything your practice needs, all in one place.

All-in-one software for aesthetic practices
Beyond the mirror.
The consult and the operations around it, in one app on iPhone and iPad.
Guided capture
Scanned from the front. Photographed from each side.
The face scan is front-facing. Viswell then guides a profile photo of each side, saved together in the visit record.
The whole consult
Everything, right where you’re looking.
Capture, notes, skin visualization with consent, the record and the deposit, in one app, in the room.
Built around the face in front of you.

Guided capture
Guided, not guessed.
It starts with a front-facing scan.
The face is scanned from the front, live on the device.
Then a photo of each side.
Spoken cues guide each side toward a matching profile angle, and the photo is taken automatically once the pose holds.
Front scan plus both profiles.

The consult
Clearer conversations, on the patient’s own face.
Patients understand what they can see. Viswell keeps the whole conversation on that image, from the first question to the take-home record.
- 01
Everyone looks at the same thing.
The consult happens on the patient’s photo, not a chart, a mirror or a stock image.
- 02
The plan, drawn out.
Your marks and labels sit on the patient’s image, so the plan is something the patient can see, not just hear.
- 03
Something to take home.
A PDF of the visit, with the photos and your marks on them, can be shared with the patient to read again later.
- 04
Progress the patient can see.
Two visits side by side make the change easy to talk about.
Skin analysis
In-depth skin analysis, with the patient’s consent.
Lines, pores, texture and redness, mapped across the face so you and the patient can talk through what you both see. The detailed analysis runs only after the patient signs its consent.
Evaluated by dermatologists in peer-reviewed studies.
The analysis technology behind Viswell has been compared with board-certified dermatologists’ assessments, with results published in dermatology journals.
The studies evaluated the technology in its developer’s own app, not in Viswell, and some were supported by the developer; results in practice may differ. Overlays are visual aids for the conversation, not a skin exam or diagnosis.
The close
Consent, record and deposit, before the patient leaves the chair.
Sign consent on screen (your practice’s own forms, plus Viswell’s skin-visualization consent), give the patient a PDF copy of the visit record, and take the deposit before the visit ends.

One app. One subscription. HIPAA compliant.
HIPAA compliant · Security and privacy
Your patients’ records belong to your practice.
Viswell is HIPAA compliant, and we sign a Business Associate Agreement with your practice. Here is what the app does with patient information.
Records live on your device
Photos, notes and records are stored in the app on your practice’s device; Viswell doesn’t keep a copy. Each staff member can use a PIN, and the app can lock with Face ID. There is no analytics or advertising code and no third-party SDK. Patient records are left out of iCloud and computer backups of the device unless your practice turns that on.
One photo, only with consent
Skin visualization is the only feature that sends a patient photo off the device. After the patient signs, the app sends one cropped face photo (camera and location metadata removed, no name or chart attached) to a third-party skin-analysis service, through a Viswell-managed account for your practice. The photo shows the patient’s face, so the patient can be identified from it. The service keeps it for up to 30 days.
Encrypted backups
Backups are encrypted (AES-256) with your passphrase. Viswell never sees or stores it, so we can’t open your backups or recover a lost passphrase. Use a long passphrase.
Export and erase
One tap exports a patient’s PDFs, photos, signed documents, CSV logs and a summary. Erase removes the patient’s chart from the app on that device. It does not reach copies already exported or shared, earlier backups, or the skin-analysis service’s copy (deleted within 30 days), and the activity log records that the erase happened. Check your record-retention obligations before erasing.
Activity log
The app keeps an activity log of actions on each record, attributed to the staff profile in use. Turn on staff PINs so entries identify the right person.
Business Associate Agreement
If your practice is a HIPAA covered entity, we sign a Business Associate Agreement with you. It is in place before you turn on skin visualization or deposits, which use services Viswell arranges.
Deposits
Deposits run through Viswell’s payment service on your own Stripe account. Viswell’s server records the amount, currency, payment category, fee and a reference for your practice’s device. Stripe’s fees and a Viswell platform fee apply.
Pricing
Founding‑practice pricing.
We’re onboarding a small number of practices before general availability. A monthly subscription, shared during your walkthrough. Deposits taken through Viswell carry Stripe’s processing fees and a Viswell platform fee, disclosed in your agreement before deposits are turned on. Your records (PDFs, photos, signed documents, CSV logs and a summary) export with you if you ever leave.

Questions
What practices ask first.
Is Viswell a medical device?
Viswell is consultation and documentation software for licensed practitioners. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate or prevent any disease or condition, does not recommend treatments or predict results, and has not been cleared or approved by the FDA. Clinical judgment remains with the practitioner.
Does it work for what my practice does?
Yes. Viswell doesn’t recommend procedures, products or doses, and there’s no procedure menu. The consult and the note are yours to run and to write, so the same consult works across everything your practice does.
Is it HIPAA compliant?
Yes. Viswell is HIPAA compliant. Records stay on your device, staff sign in with individual PINs, there is no analytics code, skin visualization sends a photo only after consent, backups are encrypted with your passphrase, and there are export, erase and activity-log controls. We sign a Business Associate Agreement with covered entities. Your practice keeps its own HIPAA responsibilities, such as device passcodes and record retention.
What devices do I need?
An iPhone or iPad running iOS or iPadOS 26 or later. Face scanning needs a TrueDepth (Face ID) front camera; without one, photos can still be taken manually. Records stay on the device they were captured on and don’t sync between devices, and an encrypted backup can move everything to a replacement device. We confirm your devices during the walkthrough.
What does it cost?
A monthly founding-practice subscription, shared during your walkthrough. See Pricing above for deposit fees and what you can export.
Who owns the data?
Your practice does. Viswell doesn’t keep a copy of your patients’ photos or charts. Skin analysis sends one consented photo to a third-party skin-analysis service through a Viswell-managed account for your practice; deposits pass the amount, currency, payment category, fee and a device reference through Viswell’s payment service.
